From Your Hands
to Ours—and Back Again.
Sending away a Bible you love is a big deal. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you request a quote to the moment your newly rebound Bible arrives back home.
Start Your Rebind →Six simple steps.
One completely renewed Bible.
You don't need to know everything about leather or Bible rebinding before getting started. We'll help you through the process.
Build Your Rebind
Start by telling us about your Bible and the look you're going for. You'll be able to explore your leather, liner, ribbon, stamping, and finishing options.
Don't know exactly what you want? That's completely fine. You can choose what you know and we'll help with the rest.
We Confirm the Details
We'll review the information you submitted and make sure your customization choices work well with your Bible.
This is where we can answer questions, discuss repairs, help with color combinations, and make sure we're on the same page before your Bible ever leaves your hands.
Ship Your Bible
Once the details are confirmed, you'll receive the information needed to ship your Bible to Living & Leather in Dalton, Georgia.
We recommend securely wrapping your Bible, placing it in a sturdy box, and using a shipping service that provides tracking.
For a Bible with significant sentimental or monetary value, consider purchasing shipping insurance when sending it.
We Rebind It by Hand
This is where your Bible begins its transformation. Each Bible is individually worked on rather than treated like a mass-produced product.
The original cover is carefully removed, necessary preparation and repairs are completed, and your new leather cover is built around your Bible.
Prepare
Your Bible is inspected and prepared for its new cover.
Build
Leather, liner, ribbons, and your selected details come together.
Finish
Final details are completed and the finished Bible is inspected.
See Your Finished Bible
Once your rebind is complete, we'll send you photos of the finished Bible.
You'll get to see the transformation before your Bible begins its trip back home.
Payment & Return Shipping
Payment is collected after your Bible is completed. Once payment is taken care of, your Bible is carefully packaged and shipped back to you.
Then comes the part we've been working toward from the beginning: putting your Bible back in your hands.
More than
a new cover.
A Bible can hold years of notes, prayers, memories, and moments. We believe the way it's handled should reflect that.
Made by Hand
Each Bible is individually rebound and finished rather than moving through a mass-production process.
Built Around You
Choose your leather, liner, ribbons, personalization, and finishing details to make the rebind your own.
See It Before You Pay
Your finished Bible is photographed for you before final payment and return shipping.

We stand behind our craftsmanship and want you to feel confident trusting us with your Bible.
Your Bible already has a story.
Let's make it ready for the next chapter.
